About Bastnaesite Concentrate
Bastnaesite is a rare earth fluorocarbonate mineral and, together with monazite, one of the two principal commercial sources of light rare earth elements worldwide.
Compared with monazite, bastnaesite typically carries significantly lower thorium content, simplifying transport, licensing and downstream processing for many buyers.

A Light Rare Earth Workhorse
Light rare earth elements (LREE) - lanthanum, cerium, praseodymium and neodymium - account for the bulk of global rare earth consumption. Bastnaesite's high cerium and lanthanum content combined with meaningful NdPr values makes it a preferred feedstock for solvent extraction circuits producing separated oxides.
